The Friendly Chupacabra / El Chupacabra Amigable
The Chupacabra is a source of fear and wonder in several Latino countries and parts of the Southern United States. Our bilingual story takes place in Puerto Rico where a brave girl, Ana and her goat tame the beast with friendship.
El Chupacabras es motivo de temor y asombro en varios países latinos y partes del sur de los Estados Unidos. Nuestra historia bilingüe tiene lugar en Puerto Rico donde una niña valiente, Ana y su cabra domestican a la bestia con amistad.
Our original production features a beautifully painted scrolling backdrop and original music by Salma Diaz performed by members of Las Azaleas. This show is part of a series of bilingual productions celebrating Latino cultures and the importance of welcoming and learning from each other.
